Beware of Health & Fitness Sabotagers!
Are your health & fitness efforts being sabotaged by your loved ones? Are they constantly cancelling outdoor hikes with you and instead, inviting you over for your favourite wines & cheeses?
If you’re experiencing this type of scenario, try talking to your loved ones. They often don’t understand how important your weight loss goals are to you. If they’ve never been challenged with losing weight, it may be difficult for them to understand the fact that you will have to change habits to meet your goals.
If you’ve tried talking to them, and they’re not seeming to understand or respect the changes you’re looking to make, maybe your friends just don’t want to see you change. It may be because they want things to stay the same – they love those beer & wings nights with you and don’t want to try new healthier activities. Or maybe they feel guilty that they’re not trying to make healthier choices. Regardless of their reason, if you’re loved ones aren’t supporting you, you may have to look at reducing the time spent with them.
